On the rare occasions we fish with conventional gear, we refuse to fish with junk. At the end of a disappointing search that lasted years, we decided to make our own rods for Seatrout and Trout fishing. Naturally they are built at the same level of quality and attention to detail found in modern fly rods. The rod shown is typical of our spinning and casting rods. 25 years ago most fly rods were 2-piece and now there are nearly none left on the market. Why should conventional rods still all be 2-piece? A special blend of 30- and 40-ton graphite delivers exceptional power and sensitivity. The interchangeable handle is unique to Reliant. The typical configuration is the long handle for wading. The shorter butt section tightens the range of the cast stroke when fishing from a boat, kayak or even a float tube. This rod travels well. Flying and don't want to drag a bazooka with you? No problem. Reliant rods are built with Fuji seats and Kigan rings. See details on the Reliant range at the link below.
